At Pentland Field School we focus on the individual learning needs of every pupil so that each pupil can reach their full potential.

The Primary Department works collaboratively to support and inspire its children to be the best that they can be. Our staff are passionate about creating opportunities that encourage the children to learn and grow academically whilst also developing their life skills.

Jo Watts, Assistant Head of School

We keep class groups small - from 6 to 10 pupils depending on age, learning ability and need - to personalise learning and promote independence.

The Secondary Department builds on the foundation learnt in the Primary years to ensure that our pupils develop into secure and happy young adults. Our curriculum supports all pupils to become independent and successful learners, and all staff are committed to ensure that all our pupils are prepared for life after school.
