Our team
All of our staff are here to help reduce and remove barriers to pupil learning, and to model the aims, aspirations and values we hold for our pupils.
A wide range of staff play differing roles to help make this happen:
Our Teachers:
lead learning in their classrooms, by planning exciting, relevant lessons that promote pupil engagement and which support the short term and long term objectives pupils are working to achieve. We would always encourage families to talk to teachers about any aspect of their child’s education in the first instance.
Our Learning Support Assistants:
help to ensure that what teachers plan for is delivered to children. Our staff know our children really well, because they spend time with our children and talk to each other about the progress pupils are making, and what they need to do next.
Our Phase Leads:
lead their phase of the school, by supporting teachers with teaching and learning, and ensuring that they understand the needs of the pupils in each phase. Phase leads will support with plans that promote positive pupil behaviour. Phase leads are available to talk further with families where this is wanted, and helpful.
Our Admin, Catering and Premises Teams:
complete a vital role to ensure that our site and our processes are safe and secure, and that pupils have access to what they need through the day on the site so that they can thrive as they learn.
Our Therapy Teams:
are provided by the Eden Trust. They work with our teachers, LSAs, and pupils, to help pupils best access the curriculum. You can learn more about our therapy teams here.
Our Senior Leaders:
lead on the strategic direction of the school, are responsible for safeguarding and work to ensure the safety of pupils and staff on the site. Senior leaders are here to help with questions that can’t easily be addressed by class staff and phase leads.
